Asian Tech Press -- The Dutch Central Bank (DNB) announced on its official website on Wednesday that cryptocurrency exchange Binance did not apply for legal registration with the DNB for the cryptocurrency services it provides in the Netherlands.

DNB claimed that Binance's actions violated the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act, such as illegally offering custodian wallets.

Binance responded to the media on Thursday, saying that the company is in the process of submitting the required application for registration with the DNB and is also actively communicating and cooperating with the DNB.
