Asian Tech Press (Aug 27)-- Coinbase has named former Facebook executive Kate Rouch as its new chief marketing officer (CMO) to manage Coinbase's branding.
Rouch spent more than a decade at Facebook, most recently as its global head of brand and product marketing for Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger. She helped the company grew from 500 million to nearly 3 billion monthly active users during her tenure.
Rouch has reportedly joined Coinbase for a month. On August 19, Coinbase announced a partnership with banking giant Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group to officially launch crypto trading in the Japanese region.
