WeRide, an L4 self-driving mobility company, announced that it has wholly acquired MoonX.AI.

By leveraging MoonX.AI's strengths as the head self-driving freight startup in China, WeRide will accelerate its strategic deployment of self-driving technology, innovative products, commercialization scenarios, and critical talents.

Dr. Qingxiong Yang, Founder and CEO of MoonX.AI, will join WeRide as Vice President and Director of the Research Institute, along with a top technical team of over 50 algorithm and R&D engineers.

MoonX.AI was founded in June 2018 and focuses on empowering logistics industry upgrades with autonomous driving technology. In just a few years, MoonX.AI has quickly made its way to the head of the industry and has accumulated rich frontline experience in the technology development and full-scene, full-process closed-loop application of self-driving freight transportation.
