Asia Tech Wire (June 20) -- Chinese electric car startup Leapmotor has confirmed the production of its T03 model in Poland.

The first pilot production vehicles of the Leapmotor T03 have been successfully assembled at European automotive group Stellantis' plant in Poland, Leapmotor told Chinese media outlet Jiemian on Thursday.

Based on their strategic cooperation, Leapmotor and Stellantis will localize production in line with business development, the Chinese company said.

Earlier Stellantis said that Leapmotor electric cars could be built at any of its plants around the world if economically feasible.
