Since this year, the price of silicon wafers has been increasing day by day. China's leading companies, such as Zhonghuan Semiconductor and LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., have raised their prices one after another.

Japan's Shin-Etsu Chemical, the world's largest supplier of silicon wafers , announced on March 3 that it would raise the prices of all silicon products by 10%-20% from April. This is its first price increase announced for silicon products since 2017.
