Asian Tech Press (OCT 22) -- Apple's talks with CATL and BYD about its planned electric vehicle battery supply have stalled, sources said.

CATL and BYD have refused to build independent teams or factories in the U.S. for Apple, while Apple has been considering Japanese battery makers. The company may have determined that Panasonic Corp. is a potential alternative supplier for its batteries.
