Asia Tech Wire (Oct 31) -- Apple on Wednesday unveiled the new MacBook Pro with M4 series chips.

Apple said the new MacBook Pro is designed for Apple Intelligence.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro comes with an M4 chip and three Thunderbolt 4 ports, , starting with 16GB of memory at just 12,999 yuan, vs. $1,599 in the U.S.

And the 14 & 16-inch models, featuring M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, support Thunderbolt 5 for faster transfer speeds.

The new MacBook Pro will be available for pre-order starting November 1 at 9 a.m. and will go on sale starting November 8th in China.

Apple revealed that the launch of Apple Intelligence in China is subject to regulatory approval.
