Apple plans to launch updated versions of its MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, iMac, and Mac Pro with processors that are much faster than Apple's own M1 chip, a new design, and support for more external devices, people familiar with the matter said.
Apple will launch a completely "redesigned" MacBook Pro this summer, meaning it will likely be released at its annual developer conference in early June and will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch models.
There are also reports about Apple working on a 30-inch iMac. Still, that product has been put on hold to focus on releasing the new 24-inch iMac. In addition, the Mac Pro with Apple's own chip will not be launched until next year.
