Asian Tech Press -- MacBook shipments are expected to increase to about 22 million units at most in 2022, a senior Apple analyst said.

Apple is expected to release the new MacBook Air around mid-2022, which will be equipped with a 13.3-inch mini LED display, according to the latest research report by Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at Tianfeng Securities Co., Ltd.

Kuo said that if the shortage of components continues to improve in 2022, it will be beneficial for the new MacBook Air and Apple Silicon to continue to upgrade.

In addition, the analyst predicts that MacBook shipments will grow to about 20-22 million units in 2022.
