Asian Tech Press (Mar. 24) -- Amazon.com Inc said Wednesday it will inves over $100 million to build a logistic base in Turkey.

The U.S. e-commerce giant announced that the company plans to open its first fulfillment center in autumn 2022 in Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey.

The new logistic base, with a more than $100 million investment, will create 1,000 new jobs in its first year.
