Asian Tech Press (Dec 22) -- China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Network Security Administration previously informed that Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. is a cooperative unit of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Network Security Threat Information Sharing Platform.  

Recently, Alibaba found that Apache Log4j2 component serious security vulnerabilities, but failed to report to the competent telecommunications departments promptly and did not effectively support the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to carry out network security threat and vulnerability management. After research, Alibaba Cloud is now suspended as the cooperation mentioned above unit for six months. After the suspension period, the collaboration may restore according to Ali cloud company rectification.
