Nowadays, some overseas consumers have become accustomed to shopping on Chinese cross-border e-commerce platforms. With the arrival of the year-end shopping season, the number of packages from China in overseas regions has increased significantly. According to market research firm GFK, Chinese cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Temu, SHEIN, and AliExpress will ship about 4 billion pieces to EU countries throughout this year. The "Overall Plan for Deepening Comprehensive Reform of International Trade in Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province" recently issued by the National Development and Reform Commission proposed to reasonably optimize cross-border e-commerce rules that reflect the wishes and interests of small and medium-sized enterprises and platform parties. Experts said that in recent years, with the introduction of a series of supporting policies, cross-border e-commerce has been actively innovating and has gradually developed into an important force in continuously promoting the high-quality development of foreign trade.
