Google launches OpenAI o1-like reasoning model

Google on Thursday announced the launch of a new reasoning model, Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking.

The model is still in the experimental stage, and can be trained to generate the "thinking process" that the model undergoes when it reacts, similar to the OpenAI o1 model, which supports in-depth visualization to show the reasoning process.

Currently, the model can be used as an experimental model in Google AI Studio or directly in the Gemini API.
