FTSE China A50 Index to include Cambrian, China Unicom and Guotai Junan

On March 5, FTSE Russell announced quarterly review changes to the FTSE China 50 Index, FTSE China A50 Index, FTSE China A150 Index, FTSE China A200 Index, and FTSE China A400 Index. The change will take effect after the close of trading on Friday, March 21, 2025. Specifically, the FTSE China A50 Index, which has attracted the most attention in the market, will include Cambrian-U, China Unicom, and Guotai Junan; China General Nuclear Power, Yili Group, and Luzhou Laojiao will be removed. BeiGene-U, SAIC Group, Seres, Inovance, and ZTE Corporation are on the list of reserve stocks for the FTSE China A50 Index. The reserve list will take effect immediately until the next quarterly review of the constituent stocks. If one or more constituent stocks are deleted, the reserve stocks will be selected.
