BYD Korea said on Tuesday that it has selected six Korean companies to serve as BYD dealers in South Korea.
The partners, including Samchully EV, DT Networks, Harmony Automobile and Vision Mobility, will be responsible for the sales and customer service of BYD passenger cars.
Chinese electric car maker BYD said in November that it plans to officially sell passenger cars in South Korea by early 2025.
The company is currently building up a local network for sales and service in South Korea and hiring staff, as well as planning marketing and working on vehicle certification.
