Asian Tech Press -- The latest batch of about 860,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, developed by BioNTech and Fosun Pharma, has arrived in Hong Kong on the same day, the Hong Kong government said in a release on Sunday.

The mRNA COVID-19 vaccine was manufactured by Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. ("Fosun Pharma", 02196: HK) in collaboration withGerman company BioNTech SE (NASDAQ: BNTX), and encapsulated at a plant in Baxter, Germany.

The government has stated that the vaccines will be stored in validated ultra-low temperature freezers and properly stored at the temperature specified by the pharmaceutical company.
