Asian Tech Press (SEP 30) -- According to media reports, the IOC (International Olympic Committee) Executive Committee meeting decided that the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games will not be open to foreign audiences, but only for those in China who meet the requirements related to the prevention and control of the epidemic.
It is reported that from January 23, 2022 to the end of the Winter Paralympic Games, closed-loop management will be implemented to ensure the safety of the Winter Olympic Games. Closed-loop management covers arrival and departure, transportation, accommodation, catering, competition, opening and closing ceremonies and all other venues involved in the Winter Olympics.
Within the closed loop, participants will only be able to travel between Winter Olympic venues and participate in activities related to their training, competition and work. A dedicated transportation system for the Winter Olympics will be used within the closed-loop.
Opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the national "Bird's Nest" stadium in Beijing, China.
